What is BlueLab?
BlueLab is based on CSR's popular Casira development kit. The hardware platform features a Radio/Baseband module, audio circuitry, and connectors to allow easy connection to any windows based PC. The radio/baseband module is easily replaceable allowing customers to insert modules from CSR's module partners. BlueLab supports both on chip and host-side software development. The BlueLab SDK allows customers to develop embedded software applications based on BlueCore. The Widcomm software (evaluation only copy supplied) is a complete, user configurable Bluetooth stack for Windows, ARM7 and many other platforms. The SDK The SDK ensures that user applications do not damage the integrity of the pre-certified Bluetooth Protocol Stack Kernel. This ensures that true, stand-alone, single chip applications can be developed on BlueCore without the need to re-qualify the protocol stack software, providing significant time-to-market and cost savings.
